Take Action: Just Do It

There are two groups of people in the world. One group is full of individuals who have a lot of talent and talk a big talk, but they do not walk the walk. The other group is full of dreamers and goal setters who put their nose to the grindstone and turn all that talking into hard earned results.

People in the first group tend to live in a very negative state of mind. They usually complain about their station in life, whether it be a job, an injury, or a financial difficulty. This group constantly talks about all the things they would do if life were different, or all the things they are going to do to change their current circumstances. The problem is when you come back and visit this same group of people a year later they are still in the same situation and are still talking about all the "what ifs" and "I'm going to" scenarios.

The reason nothing changes for group one is because all they do is talk. They are dreamers who scheme up all kinds of great ideas to get out of their situations, but they never put these plans into action. As the old saying goes, "talk is cheap." Actions really do speak louder than words. Ask the individuals in group number two.

Group number two is full of dreamers who not only come up with ground breaking, innovative ideas, but they make plans and carry them out. Group two takes risks and sticks their neck out on the line. They are willing and ready to pour themselves out in order to meet their goals and to be successful. They are not defined by their situations; instead they become the master of their lives and do what is needed to change their circumstances. They are soldiers striving to be all that they can be and often times they exceed even their own expectations.

The choice is really up to you. You can live in your current situation and continue being miserable, spending all your time complaining, or you can formulate a plan, throw caution to the wind, and take action. Too many people hesitate when opportunity comes knocking at the door, and they end up missing their moment. Don't miss your moment. Do not allow fear to rob you and chain you down. Make up your mind that today is the day that you do more than talk a big talk, and just do it.
